The SUNDAY SERVICE includes the Bible Lesson, hymns, prayer and a solo. Our Pastor is not a person but two books - the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
The weekly Bible Lesson is studied during the week and then read on Sunday by two Readers elected annually by the members of this church.
The quotations are chosen in advance by a Committee at The Mother Church and published in the Christian Science Quarterly which can be purchased in our Reading Room at 69 Station Road East, or
subscribed to at the Christian Science Publishing Society in Boston, Mass.
The same Bible Lesson is read in the Christian Science churches all over the world.
The SUNDAY SCHOOL uses the Christian Science textbook (Science and Health with key to the Scriptures) to help us understand the Bible and apply it's moral and spiritual law to everyday life.
Lessons include:
- The Ten Commandments (Bible, Exodus 20:3-17)
- The Lord’s Prayer (Bible, Matthew 6:9-13), and its Spiritual Interpretation by Mary Baker Eddy
- The Sermon on the Mount (Bible, Matthew 5:3-12)
On first Wednesdays each month we meet on Zoom for a TESTIMONY SERVICE which is conducted by the First Reader and includes readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, hymns, prayer and a time for sharing testimonies of healing, experiences and remarks on Christian Science.
